The Convention requires that each Member who ratifies the Convention must take immediate and effective measures to secure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labour as a matter of urgency. The worst forms of child labour prohibited in this Convention include: all forms of slavery (including forced recruitment of children for armed conflict); prostitution/pornography; use of a child for illicit activities; work likely to harm the health, safety or morals of children.
