The Agreement allows New Zealanders residing in Spain to convert a New Zealand drivers licence to a Spanish one without having to undertake theoretical or practical tests. Spaniards in New Zealand are already able to convert their drivers’ licences without sitting tests and this Agreement would provide New Zealand with reciprocity.
