The Second Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer decided to adopt adjustments and reductions of production and consumption of the controlled substances in Annex A to the Protocol. Subsequent Meetings of the Parties have further adjusted and amended the Protocol in 1992 in Copenhagen, 1995 in Vienna, 1997 in Montreal, 1999 in Beijing, and most recently 2007 in Montreal.
